MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has been able to make major international breakthroughs into the Latin pop culture. Una Lady Como Tu, his hit from 2016, won the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for the Best Song. His debut album was a long-player ADN to the local Sony distributor in Medellin La Industria Inc. On the Top Latin Albums chart, it ranked no. 8. Vaina Loca the album that was one of the Top Five smash hit in 2010, also featured Noriel alongside Ozuna. Mala Influencia is his collaborative effort with Noriel in the year 2020. The following calendar year Dopamina was his follow-up album. In 2021 he recorded an duet with TINI's popular single Maldita Foto. An album release in 2023 featuring the mega-hit La Bachata. Turizo was a member of an musical family. His older brother and mother are each musicians. In his interviews, he said his participation in music as compulsory. He was taught how to play guitar, saxophone the ukulele and piano when he was a young child. He initially wanted to be a vet, but after his brother Julian convinced to him take lessons with the help of a Cuban singer, he changed goals for his future career.
